Scorpio natives, original in everything, unwilling to follow routine paths, are natural disturbers of the peace. They possess incredible persistence, of which the smooth, hard chitinous shell of the scorpion reminds us. As our guru once said to his Scorpio pupil: «Make peace with yourself, otherwise you will continue to dig your own grave». One of the reasons for such an unusual personality of Scorpio is probably the fact that Aries, the constellation ruling the head, occupies their sixth house — the house of illness. The tail of the scorpion, full of poison, gives them an interest in chemicals, drugs, pharmacology and other similar subjects connected with the sixth house. Persons born with the lagna in Scorpio, as a rule, show an interest in medicine in general and especially in surgery, since the lord of the lagna, Mars (one of its attributes is «the Sharp» or «the Cutting») symbolises all sharp instruments, including the scalpel.
