A person who has Venus in the 11th house of the horoscope will be learned, compassionate, merciful, rich and will own landed property. If Venus is joined with a benefic planet or experiences its influence, the owner of the horoscope will have many means of transport. When Venus is joined with a malefic planet, the master of the horoscope will acquire wealth by dishonest means. In the case of a conjunction with a beneficial planet financial profits obtained by righteous means are expected. Wealth should not be expected if Venus is in the sign of its debilitation or is joined with a malefic planet or with the lords of the 6th, 8th and 12th houses.
Comments:
The placement of Venus in a house of upachaya is very favourable. From the 11th house Venus influences the 5th house and speaks of happiness in children, and with a good placement of the lord of the 5th house and of the putra-karaka Jupiter — of their prosperity and fame. It should be noted that the owner of the horoscope will have a good marriage partner.
For the rising signs of Virgo, Capricorn, Aquarius and Cancer Venus will be in the 11th house as the mistress of the 2nd and 9th, of the 5th and 10th, of the 4th and 9th and of the 4th and 11th houses respectively and will create dhana yogas — combinations of planets indicating a good material position. Another very advantageous position of Venus in the 11th house is in Pisces, where it will be exalted in a house of upachaya as the mistress of the lagna. In this case the rising sign will be Taurus.
