That is precisely why the author Pandit Dhundhiraj does not speak of favourable results for Shani in Simha. A person with this combination in the birth chart will be grieved by his son. It has also been observed that he will suffer from pain in the liver, the heart and the upper part of the belly.

The degree to which the results mentioned above manifest: If all three — 1) the Rashi [sign], 2) the ruler of the Rashi [sign] and 3) the Graha [planet] — are endowed with strength, then the full result will be obtained. The lesser or greater degree of the results can be learned by studying the position of the ruler of the Rashi: whether it is in debilitation, in exaltation, in its own Rashi, whether it is combust and so on.
