Nakshatra Abhijit
THE STAR ABHIJIT — 6°40’ — 10° 15’ OF CAPRICORN
Specially distinguished is one more nakshatra — the twenty-eighth, which is called Abhijit (the Greek name — Vega) and occupies only 3° 35’ of space. The supreme deity of this nakshatra is Brahma, the creator of the Universe. Abhijit is a «deva», a divine star.
According to Vyasa Maharishi, the nakshatra Abhijit once «slipped down from the heavens» and the Vimshottari-dasha system does not take it into account, but another, less widespread, but also ancient and authoritative system of stellar astrology — Ashtottari-dasha — singles out this nakshatra as a special one. It seemed interesting to us to acquaint the reader with the characteristics that manifest when planets fall into Abhijit.
The presence of significant planets of the horoscope in Abhijit says that the person is called to influence the course of historical events, becoming a kind of «servant of karma». For example, in the horoscope of V.I. Lenin the Moon is in Abhijit.
