The lord of the 12th in the 9th house: honest, generous, with a big heart, shows weak interest in spiritual matters, nurses no warm feelings towards wife, friends and mentors, cares only about his own aims. The father contributes to the person’s success; there is a likelihood of acquiring property in another country.

The lord of the 12th in the 10th house: damage to the reputation, ill fame, disciplinary penalties, persecution on the part of the management or of government bodies, difficulties in the profession, losses because of high-placed people, tiring trips, work with foreigners, support on the part of important persons are possible. He is deprived of paternal love, difficulties with children and in relations with them.

The lord of the 12th in the 11th house: the person may have been brought up outside his own family, other people assist in obtaining income, wasteful brothers create problems. He has few friends, but many enemies. Well provided for, owns valuables, sometimes receives small incomes from other people’s capital. Difficulties with conception or with the birth of a child, problems with children; he may adopt a child.

The lord of the 12th house in the 12th: prosperity, abundant income, but also great expenditure, physical discomfort, a small reserve of vital forces, irritability, restlessness, greed, ill will, immoral deeds, pleasures of the bed, a love of comfort, expenditure on noble and spiritual aims, no happiness from children, good eyesight; he is keen on wanderings, and if there is an affliction — vagrancy; in a movable sign — visits and residence abroad during the period of the lord of the 12th house.

Note: when the rulers of the 6th, 8th or 12th fall into the 12th house, then Vimala yoga is formed, a variety of Viparita Raja yoga. This combination is favourable for material prosperity, but has a bad effect on health.
