Commentary: The most excellent qualities of Shani [Saturn] are visible when it is in the Rashi Tula [the sign Libra], because this is the Rashi of its exaltation. A person with such a combination will be exceedingly disciplined, very hard-working and always cautious, and will perform his work systematically. If Shani in Tula is placed in the 6th Bhava [house], then the person will be able to attain success only in medicine or in a profession connected with the courts.

The degree to which the results mentioned above manifest: If all three — 1) the Rashi [sign], 2) the ruler of the Rashi [sign] and 3) the Graha [planet] — are endowed with strength, then the full result will be obtained. The lesser or greater degree of the results can be learned by studying the position of the ruler of the Rashi: whether it is in debilitation, in exaltation, in its own Rashi, whether it is combust and so on.
