Many authors consider that Venus in the 7th house gives an early marriage. Although it is considered that such people ought to have an ideal marriage, we often see the opposite. If Venus is damaged by the aspects of Mars or Rahu, it will be hard for the person to control his flow of sexual energy. If it is under the aspect of Saturn, it will be difficult for the person to enter into marriage. These are people who are able to establish public connections, to conclude agreements and deals, contracts. A good placement for marriage agents, for lawyers who deal with marriage contracts, for business connected with goods for women. On the whole, this is a very good place for marriage, real estate and work. Because real estate is the 4th house. The 7th house = the 4th house from the 4th. Also the 10th house = career, fame. The placement of Venus in the Upachaya houses (3, 6, 10 or 11) or in the 7th house says that after marrying, fortune will smile on the person much more often than before marriage. If Venus is placed in the 7th house, the owner of the horoscope will love to kiss a woman's lips and will be very sexual. Being rich, he will become infatuated with women who are not his wives. He will be qualified in his work, will own means of transport, will have a large family and will behave dishonestly with women. If Venus is joined with a malefic planet or is in the sign of an inauspicious planet or in the sign of debilitation, the owner of the horoscope will lose his wife, but will marry a second time. If many inauspicious planets are joined with Venus, he will have to marry many times as a consequence of the successive loss of his wives. The owner of the horoscope will have no children. When Venus is joined with a benefic planet or is in its own sign or in the sign of exaltation, great wealth from the side of the wife's relatives should be expected. With the help of the wife the master of the horoscope will become very influential and will be surrounded by women.

Venus is the kalatra-karaka, the indicator of the wife (the marriage partner) and the significator of the 7th house.
Being in its own house, according to the theory of “Karaka-bhava-nashaya”, Venus will cause problems in marriage and an absence of family happiness. Only the beneficial influence of a strong Jupiter, if it is placed in the 3rd, 1st or 11th houses, counting from the lagna, or a conjunction of Venus with it, will be able to overcome this. “Karaka-bhava-nashaya” is one of the fundamental theories in Vedic astrology. The negative influence of the karaka (the significator) is not taken into account in any other astrological tradition. Our practical experience confirms the truth of this theory, demonstrating once again the advantages of jyotish.

Pay attention to the malavya yoga. According to sutras 43-44, the owner of the horoscope will become very rich and influential through her marriage partner and his relatives, and sutras 19-29 of chapter 2, describing the placement of the Moon in the 4th house, say that the owner of the horoscope will be crowned. From the 7th house Venus influences the lagna, endowing the owner of the horoscope with attractiveness, beauty, great strength of feeling and a passionate temperament. The 7th house indicates the business partner, therefore the presence of a benefic planet in it gives fortune in joint activity. As the significator of the 4th house, Venus in a kendra speaks of material well-being, a good education and a large family.
Other opinions concerning Venus in the 7th house:
“Brihat Jataka” — a person who has Venus in the 7th house of the horoscope will have a great attachment to sexual enjoyments and an ability to cause quarrels among people.
“Phaladipika” — the owner of the horoscope will have a good wife, but, perhaps, he will have to live through her early death. Being rich, he may “take the bait” of impious women.
“Saravali” — beauty, benevolence, happiness in family life, wealth and fortune.
“Chamatkar Chintamani” — the master of the horoscope will be very attractive and loving of the enjoyments of life. His wife will bear him a mighty son.
Note: All the ancient texts note the favourable characteristics of the placement of Venus in the 7th house.

The results of the placement of Venus (Shukra) in the 7th house
In the case of the placement of Shukra in the 7th Bhava the person possesses many skills, engages in exercises (recreation) in water, is happy and satisfied thanks to having sex with his beautiful wife and loves prostitutes.
Comments: Shukra [Venus] is considered the significator of the 7th Bhava [house]. If it is in this Bhava and receives beneficial influences, then the person has a good character, he is interested neither in other women besides his wife, nor in prostitutes; his married life is happy, and his wife's health is excellent. He knows how to conduct himself with other people. His relations with his business partner are excellent. His friends also communicate well with him, they are polite and behave well. His personality is charming and very attractive. His children are healthy, beautiful and possess the hereditary qualities of their lineage. As a consequence of the auspiciousness of Shukra the person's seed <sperm/ovum> is very strong, and therefore his children are strong, healthy, beautiful and receive the marks of the lineage.
If Shukra is in the Rashi [sign] of debilitation or receives a malefic influence, then the person will be deprived of a good character. In his behaviour there is much flattery and little purity, nobility. He is exceedingly selfish and inclined towards practicality. If he does not manage to predominate over others, then he becomes very irritated. It is probable that he will have illicit relations with other women besides his wife (in a woman's chart — relations with other men). There may be illnesses of the intimate organs, a weakness of the seed, unfriendly relations with the business partner or troubles connected with the partner.
