The conjunction Ketu + the Sun

This is a spiritual combination. It destroys the false ego. It gives introspection, inner insights and spiritual vision.

Ketu + the Sun points to a deep bond with the father. Ketu directs the energy of a planet inward, unlike Rahu, which gives outward expansion.

This combination may give a leaning towards self-criticism and a lack of self-confidence. With a strong Sun it may be an indicator of true humility.

The Sun is stronger than Ketu — the person constantly thinks about his comfort zone and analyses ways of protecting himself from unfavourable, irritating factors. But he does not apply his reflections in the practical plane. Obstacles keep the person from developing, although his inner potential for development is enormous. There may be lowered immunity or a suppression of immunity.

An absolute confidence in one's own thinking process. Such personalities are practically not subject to the influence of their surroundings. This is at once an enormous strength (with a good horoscope) and a sad weakness (with a weak one).

The Sun is weaker than Ketu — complete defencelessness and a closing in upon one's own interests.
