The conjunction Ketu + the Moon
Ketu + the Moon points to developed emotions and a subtle psychic bond with the mother. If the Moon is weak — fears, neuroses, possession by spirits, manias, an interest in magic. If the Moon is strong — extrasensory abilities and heightened spirituality.
If Ketu stands in a trine (the 1st, 5th or 9th house) from the Sun or the Moon, this often gives high spirituality.

This forms a Raja-sambandha yoga, which switched on in the period Saturn-Rahu. Rahu in the 8th may also point to taking part in conspiracies. Brezhnev took a direct part in the conspiracy against his predecessor Khrushchev, and came to power as a result of Khrushchev's forced resignation.
He died in the period Mercury-Saturn. Mercury is a maraka (the lord of the 7th). Saturn aspects it and stands in the 4th from Mercury. He died of a myocardial infarction.

The Moon is stronger than Ketu — it is hard to show emotions, but empathy is strong. The person is able to detail and to be aware of feelings and emotions to the utmost. The price for a high degree of sensitivity is outward coldness or a stock manner. A many-sided and interesting inner world. Loneliness often comes about through an unwillingness to live through other people's emotions. An excellent grasp of psychology and of spiritual growth.
