Ubhayachara

This yoga occurs when planets other than the Moon occupy the second and twelfth houses from the Sun.

One born with this yoga will have a strong physique, will be a king or equal to a king, capable of carrying great responsibility, highly educated, with a balanced worldview, wealthy, handsome, and possessing numerous objects of pleasure. These results will be extremely good when benefic planets form this yoga. If this yoga is formed by malefic planets, the person will be sickly, servile, abandoned, and inclined towards evil deeds.

Ubhayachari Yoga is equivalent to Durudhara Yoga from the Lunar Yoga family. Like Durudhara Yoga, this yoga has one hundred and eight variations, depending on the number of planets connected on both sides of the Sun.

It is known that Mercury and Venus do not stray far from the Sun, and solar yogas often occur. Therefore, they should be interpreted carefully and cautiously, and not literally as mentioned in classical texts. Solar yogas should be interpreted with a careful assessment of other yogas present in the horoscope.
