Jaya Yoga

It is formed when the ruler of the 6th house is in debilitation while the ruler of the 10th house is at the highest point of its exaltation. Results. The person will lead a happy life, will defeat all his enemies, is fortunate in every enterprise and is endowed with a long life. Comments. Jaya, translated from Sanskrit, means «Victory» or «glory». A person who owns such a yoga will attain success in all his undertakings.

The strength of the yoga depends on how high a point of exaltation is occupied by the ruler of the 10th house, which is responsible for status and for a person’s efforts, and on which aspects it receives. If benefics influence the planet ruling the 10th house through an aspect or a conjunction, such a person will be greatly respected in society and praised. If the ruler of the 6th house (a dusthana) is weakened, then all the characteristics of that house — enemies, debts and illnesses — are also weakened and become incapable of doing harm on the way to success and fame. It can sometimes happen that the debilitated ruler of the 6th joins the exalted ruler of the 10th, and as a rule this too produces an extraordinary personality who defeats his enemies and attains success.
