Durudhara Yoga
When planets other than the Sun occupy both the second and the twelfth house from the Moon, Durudhara yoga is formed.
One born with Durudhara yoga earns renown by his fine speech, learning, heroism and virtue. The yoga grants the one born with it enormous wealth, means of transport, lands, servants, physical comforts and independence from enemies. He engages in charity and desires the company of women with beautiful eyes.
In Durudhara yoga the emphasis falls on possession and accumulation (created by the planet or planets in the second house) on the one hand, and on expenses and pleasures (created by the planet or planets in the twelfth house) on the other.
Depending on whether one or more planets are in the second or the twelfth house from the Moon, 180 varieties of Durudhara yoga may be formed:
- One planet in the second house and one in the twelfth house, 20 varieties.
- One planet in the second house and two planets in the twelfth house, or two planets in the second house and one planet in the twelfth house, 60 varieties.
- One planet in the second house and three planets in the twelfth house, or three planets in the second house and one planet in the twelfth house, 40 varieties.
- One planet in the second house and four planets in the twelfth house, or four planets in the second house and one planet in the twelfth house, 10 varieties.
- Two planets in the second house and two planets in the twelfth house, 30 varieties.
- Two planets in the second house and three planets in the twelfth house, or three planets in the second house and two planets in the twelfth house, 20 varieties.
