The ruler of the 7th house in the 3rd house
Parashara considers that this position creates problems with children: usually there is a loss of a child. The chances of bearing and keeping a son are not great. Daughters, however, may survive and bring the person happiness. Only a strong 5th house and a good condition of Jupiter, the significator of children, are able to preserve a son.
The person’s brothers benefit from this combination: it promises them prosperity abroad. If the lord of the 7th house is afflicted and has no support from benefics, the person may enter into a relationship with the wife of a younger brother or with a female relative on the mother’s side. Also in this case the well-being of the brothers will suffer.
The person maintains friendly relations with his kin, but relies only on his own powers. When the dispositor of the ruler of the 7th house is joined with it in the 3rd house, the person will take as his wife a girl from a respected family. His father-in-law will be fortunate and will be well settled in life. If the lord of the 3rd house is damaged, its period holds a threat to the life of a brother/sister. A strong influence of bad planets may lead to a second marriage, but this is only an additional factor, not an obligatory rule. The spouse will have a closer emotional bond with her own brothers/sisters than with her husband’s kin; she will be brave and at times cruel.
