The lords of the various houses in the 7th house
The results of any planet depend to a large extent on which houses of the horoscope it rules.
Planets placed in the 7th house may strengthen the house or spoil it. Here we shall try to describe in detail how the various house lords behave when they fall into the 7th house. Do not forget that the inner nature of a planet matters just as much as the houses it owns.
When, say, Saturn as the lord of the 12th house stands in the 7th, there is a likelihood of separation. Mars as the lord of the 12th house in the 7th may push the person into marital infidelity, while Jupiter in the same conditions foretells a journey abroad. Correct conclusions are possible only after a comprehensive analysis of many other factors — such as the nature and the position of the lord of the 7th house, its navamsha, the qualities of the sign it occupies, the influence of other planets (aspects and conjunctions) on the 7th house and on its lord, and so on. Look carefully at the planets that influence the 7th house through conjunctions, aspects, an exchange of signs or of nakshatras, a link in the Navamsha and the like: their nature and the houses they own are of great importance.
Let us now turn to the results of the lords of the various houses in the 7th house. Be prudent and do not hurry to conclusions before you have taken every relevant factor into account. Haste in this matter is fraught with wrong conclusions.
