Rashmi-bala — the strength of the planetary rays
When planets are in deep exaltation, they have a definite number of rays. The exalted Sun has 10 rays, the Moon has 9 rays, Mars — 5, Mercury — 5, Jupiter — 7, Venus — 8, Saturn — 5.
