Jataka Chandrika of Venkatesha Pandita
The Jataka Chandrika is a short treatise, eighty-six pages, and that is its character: it is almost free of discussion, and almost every line is a rule.
Its subject is house lordships, yogas and the combinations of lords: which lord in which house gives what, which combinations form a raja yoga and which destroy one.
Dense texts of this kind are convenient for checking against a program: the rule is stated briefly and unambiguously, and it is easy to see whether it agrees with what JHora computes. The book was checked separately during our analysis of the raja yogas.
