The ruler of the 7th house in the 6th house
Both partners may have two marriages each. A marriage with a relative is possible. If Venus and the 7th house in the chart are afflicted, the person may have venereal diseases. A jealous and sickly wife will refuse him marital joys. With an unafflicted but weak Venus in the horoscope the person may lose his partner because of his own careless actions. The native will suffer from a debilitating illness.
This combination disturbs family harmony. We have noticed that when the 7th house is owned by the Sun, placed in the 6th, the couple not infrequently parts. If the lord of the 7th stands in the 6th house beside its ruler, the partner may bring the person ill fame. The spouse will have chronic problems, the nature of which depends on the nature of this planet.
There is a likelihood of a lengthy lawsuit with the partner. The maternal uncle will die in strange circumstances. If benefic influences on the 7th house and its lord are present, the family problems will in time be resolved.
Let us turn to chart 1-6. The 7th house is ruled by the Sun, placed in the 6th house. The horoscope is also afflicted by a strong Kuja dosha. The woman married on 24.11.1968, but a month later she had to part with her husband because of a false accusation of petty theft. For seven years they lived apart, and then came together again.
Her beloved maternal uncle died at the age of 50 in mysterious circumstances. He was a noble and honest man. Once he went to the police station to file a report of a crime against his son, but the guardians of order shut him in a cell and tortured him to death. Most likely the criminal had managed to bribe them in advance. The circumstances of the uncle’s death remained unsolved.
The younger brother of this woman was born with the Ascendant in Aquarius. In his chart the owner of the 7th house, the Sun, also stands in the 6th house. He is divorced, and, of course, the story with the uncle repeats itself. This is the most undesirable position for the lord of the 7th house.

- This is the worst placement, an indication of sins from the past life. The person gave little of himself in personal relationships, thought more about himself, or he had some hostile relations with his partner, or he did not want to look after a sick partner.
- In most cases — divorce. The 6th is a dusthana, and also the house of illnesses and enemies, and also the house of losses for the 7th — the 12th from the 7th.
- Such couples either divorce, or serious crises occur. Or one of the partners is seriously ill, and the second is forced to look after him.
- There may be debts connected with the partner.
- The native needs to work very hard on his marital and partnership relations, and to rid himself of subconscious aggression and egoism.

The 7th in the 6th: this is considered a not very favourable placement, because the 6th is connected with work, illnesses, cares, troubles and servants, so when the ruler of the 7th is in the 6th, especially if it is weak, then the partner will lack something: health, money or intelligence, for example. He constantly has some problems. There will constantly be some problematic situations where the participation of the owner of the horoscope will be required. Problematic, unhealthy, unhappy partners will come along.
In the very best variant, when the lord of the 7th in the 6th is well placed, it may give a hard-working partner.
Not a very good placement, even if the ruler is strongly placed in the 6th house.
If the ruler is strong and well placed:
- The person will be excessively brave, likes to argue and to stand up for his point of view. And these qualities will not help him much.
- The person is energetic and impulsive, but irritability may manifest.
- He may earn well and is hard-working, but disagreements are possible and this indicates the possibility of several marriages.
If the ruler of the 7th is afflicted in the 6th house
- It destroys family relations.
- If there are aspects, this will indicate that it is difficult for the person to form lasting relationships.
- Even if there is a relationship, then the native’s spouse may suffer because of his health and from the jealousy of the owner of the horoscope.
