“Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra” (chapter 26, text 37): “When the ruler of the 4th bhava is placed in the Lagna, the native is endowed with erudition, virtues, ornaments, lands, means of transport and the happiness of a mother.”

Comments: The ruler of the 4th bhava [house] will be in its own rashi [sign] when it is in the 1st bhava with the Dhanu [Sagittarius] and Mithuna [Gemini] Lagnas.
