Shasha Yoga is created by Saturn, located in the kendras [i.e. 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses of the horoscope]. Its possessor has money, a good status, and holds a leadership position in local government.
Shri Govind Swarup Agarwal - "Vedic Astrology"
Saturn gives one of the Pancha-Mahapurusha yogas - Shasha Yoga. This makes a person strong and independent, a leader, a social leader, giving him many servants and subordinates, but at the same time his character and reputation are not always impeccable.

A person born with this yoga is brave and cruel, of medium height, with a narrow waist and large teeth. He has beautiful legs and a fast gait. He has a dark complexion. He loves to travel to jungles, mountains, forts, and other ancient places. A person with Shasha Yoga is attached to his mother. He always takes care of his guests. He is a commander of an army, a leader of a group, settlement, or city. He is competent, wealthy, educated, and always points out the mistakes of others. He loves to engage in sexual activities and has connections not only with his wife. This person is knowledgeable in metallurgy and chemistry. He may suffer from physical ailments and lives up to seventy years.
Note: Saturn is the planet of masses. In Shasha Yoga, Saturn dominates, so it brings leadership to a person. A person born with this yoga will receive both physical pleasures and sufferings.
Sometimes it can be noticed that a horoscope may have one or even several Pancha-Mahapurusha yogas, but remain unnoticed. Therefore, in order to properly analyze these yogas, it is necessary to note some points.
1. The planet forming the yoga must be strong, both in the birth chart (according to Shad-bala) and in the vargas. This planet will fully manifest its qualities only if it is strong. The dominant Mars is strength and aggression, Mercury is intellect and virtue, Jupiter is wisdom and eloquence, Venus is beauty and pleasure, and Saturn is influence on the masses and misfortunes.
2. The Pancha-Mahapurusha yoga will not give results if the Sun or Moon are in conjunction with the planet forming this yoga. In this case, the planet will only give favorable results in its own dasha. This will be equivalent to canceling the Mahapurusha yoga.
3. Accordingly, if the Sun and Moon are not in conjunction with the planet forming the yoga, then this Mahapurusha yoga will manifest fully and bear fruit not only in its own dasha. In other words, this "flawless" Mahapurusha yoga will manifest itself not only in the dasha of the planet forming it. This yoga, therefore, will have an influence throughout life. It is similar to Nabhasa yoga. The presence of several such favorable yogas in the horoscope raises a person's material and professional status, regardless of the dasha.
