Malavya Yoga - the position of Venus in Taurus, Libra, or Pisces in an angular house [i.e. the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th houses of the horoscope - ed.]. It bestows a person with a good figure, strong will, erudition, fame, and wealth. They will die peacefully or by their own choice.
Shri Govind Swarup Agarwal - "Vedic Astrology"
Venus gives Malavya Yoga. Malavya is a special type of expensive wood used to make luxury items. It provides comfort and conditions for enjoyment.
A person born with Malavya Yoga has a noble appearance, beautiful lips, a narrow waist, a beautiful body, a deep voice, sparkling teeth, and a fair complexion like a full moon. They have prominent cheeks, bright eyes, long arms reaching the knees.
Malavya Yoga brings education and wealth to a person. A person with this yoga earns through their hard work. They are strong, blessed with a spouse, children, and material comfort. They are intelligent, educated, knowledgeable in sacred scriptures, but have a tendency towards extramarital relationships. They will live up to 70 years.
Note: A strong Venus in Malavya Yoga gives beauty, education, and a love for physical pleasures.
Sometimes it can be observed that a horoscope may have one or even several Pancha-Mahapurusha yogas but remain unnoticed. Therefore, in order to properly analyze these yogas, it is necessary to note some points.
1. The planet forming the yoga must be strong both in the birth chart (according to Shad-bala) and in the vargas. This planet will fully manifest its qualities only if it is strong. The dominant Mars represents strength and aggression, Mercury represents intellect and virtue, Jupiter represents wisdom and eloquence, Venus represents beauty and pleasure, and Saturn represents influence on the masses and misfortunes.
2. Pancha-Mahapurusha yoga will not give results if the Sun or Moon are in conjunction with the planet forming the yoga. In this case, the planet will only give favorable results in its own dasha. This will be equivalent to canceling the Mahapurusha yoga.
- Accordingly, if the Sun and Moon are not in conjunction with the planet forming the yoga, then this Mahapurusha yoga will manifest fully and bear fruit not only in its own dasha. In other words, this "flawless" Mahapurusha yoga will manifest itself not only in the dasha of the planet forming it. This yoga will therefore have an influence throughout life. It is similar to Nabhasa yoga. The presence of several such favorable yogas in the horoscope raises a person's material and professional status, regardless of the dasha.
