Vasuman Yoga

When all the beneficent planets (Mercury, Jupiter, Venus) occupy the upachaya houses (the third, sixth, tenth and eleventh houses) from the Moon, the highly beneficent Vasuman yoga is formed.

Vasuman yoga most likely foretells extraordinary wealth and the enjoyment of domestic comforts.

When two beneficent planets are placed in the upachaya houses from the Moon, the yoga gives moderate wealth; if only one planet is placed in these houses, ordinary wealth will be given.

The upachaya houses are the houses of development. Planets placed in them will bring their result through a person’s labour and personal efforts.

This yoga is also formed if all four beneficent planets including the Moon (that is, the Moon, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus) are placed in the upachaya houses relative to the Lagna.

Vasuman yoga is highly beneficent. Its presence in a horoscope ensures lasting financial prosperity. The results of this yoga occur even if there are other unfavourable yogas in the horoscope.

It should be noted that the upachaya houses, being the houses of growth and development, help one to earn and accumulate wealth even if malefic planets are placed in them. Malefic planets in these houses, however, foretell that the results will be obtained through struggle and hard labour. The presence of beneficent planets in these houses guarantees less physical effort and greater results.
