Daridra Yoga
Daridra yoga is formed when the seven planets from the Sun to Saturn are placed in adjacent houses in such a way that the planet next in the natural order is placed in the preceding house. In other words, Venus is placed in the second house from Saturn, Jupiter in the second house from Venus, Mercury in the second house from Jupiter, Mars in the second house from Mercury, the Moon in the second house from Mars, and the Sun in the second house from the Moon.
Daridra yoga may endow the one born with it with extreme poverty and deprivation.
For very simple reasons, the yoga cannot exist in a birth chart with Mercury and Venus separated as far from the Sun as this yoga requires. Perhaps the presence of this yoga should be checked in the navamsha. The classical writers give a precise, very specific combination without any hints as to its use. Here there is a large field for conducting serious astrological research.
