Daridra Yoga

Daridra Yoga is formed when seven planets from the Sun to Saturn are placed in adjacent houses in such a way that the planet following in the natural order is located in the preceding house. In other words, Venus is placed in the second house from Saturn, Jupiter in the second house from Venus, Mercury in the second house from Jupiter, Mars in the second house from Mercury, Moon in the second house from Mars, and Sun in the second house from Moon.

Daridra Yoga can endow the native with extreme poverty and deprivation.

For very simple reasons, this yoga cannot exist in a birth chart with Mercury and Venus so far separated from the Sun as required in this yoga. Perhaps the presence of this yoga should be checked in the navamsa. Classical writers provide a very specific combination without any hints on how to use it. There is a wide scope for conducting serious astrological research in this area.
